The Facebook live streaming feature does not have to be limited to use via phones only, using the PlayZone PHDX you can now Live Stream broadcast on face book using external cameras or even premade video clips.
The PlayZone PHDX is a small, compact and lightweight device that is powered via a 5V DC 2A regulated power source, you can use either wired or wireless internet connection to hook up the PHDX to the web for Live Streaming. Recorded clips can be played back or live camera input can be used with the camera connected to the optional PZ-HDMI or PZ-HDSDI capture modules.
The PHDX is controlled via a web browser interface to setup streaming and carry out functions such as starting and stopping the live stream.
To live stream on a facebook channel you will first need your stream key, when this is added into the PHDX setup then all you need to do is to select the source – either from the PZ capture device or a recorded file and press Start, that’s it and in a moment you will see your live stream broadcast appearing on your facebook channel.
