| Front projection
provides a number of benefits for displaying computer or video images.
With front projection, the projector is located in front of the
projection screen, the projector is usually ceiling mounted. The
major benefit of using front projection means that installation
is normally easier and does not take up any floor space, ideal for
control rooms that need to maximise the available space. With front
projection the choice of projector and lens will determine the distance
from the screen to the mounting location of the projector and as
a rough guide 1.5 x the screen width is normally the distance required.
Front projection screens are available in three basic forms, Manual
- this is where the screen is pulled down manually, Electric - this
is a motorised screen and via a remote switch the screen can be
lowered or raised, Fixed Frame - this is where the screen surface
is mounted on a frame, the frame is fixed to the wall and the projection
surface is then mounted onto the frame. Custom front projection
screens are available in both 4:3 and 16:9 aspect ratios, for custom
screen size requirements please enquire for further information. |
